Just when you thought street art had stopped delivering leaves painted on wood, up pops Sean Worrall with another fresh street art leaf fall for people to find, take and cherish. On a private tour last week one lucky couple found a leaf hanging in an alley. It was colourful and the perfect size to fit the corner of a suitcase and it was FREE! On the back was an invitation from the artist to take the art for free.

Sean Worrall has had a long running #43leaves scheme for leaving beautifully painted leaves on wood hanging on nails out on the streets for people to find, collect and treasure.

The excitement didn’t end with that discovery, a short while later a second #43leaves piece was spotted. It turned out the wood was a mirror image of the first one and the two pieces were consecutive edition numbers. Both these leafs found an appreciative home in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The question the lucky finders face is which way to hang the pair.

We have had the pleasure of finding Sean’s leave’s before ( 2016, 2017, 2019) though not for a few years, Sean assures us the project has run every year so other folk shared the luck and the love.
