This is partly about the rate of turnover of art in Shoreditch and also how great it looks at night. Starting with A stunning Geisha girl painted by Dan Kitchener on Monday. Last weekend multiple tags had appeared on Woskerski’s appetising fried egg mural and as there are several artists who keep this particular wall looking top notch I told several groups the wall looked ripe for renewal.

Just around the corner Mesa added a new graffiti piece on a spot he has painted a number of times in the past couple of years. With dusk being that much later as we move towards the longest periods of daylight there were some passing moments when the sky took on the lushest royal blue colour in harmony with some of the art.

The reason I ventured out with my camera and tripod at a time of year when night photography requires very late nights was actually to catch a new collaborative piece by Sweet Toof and Mul painted last Friday. The shutters are up during the daytime hence the late evening photography mission. All worth while for the chance to capture the beauty of some great street art in a different way at light.

I had some fun this Reves with a small amount of light painting while I took the long exposure photograph. To see how that piece looks under some stunning digital animation have a look at his Instagram HERE
